So,,,who wants to live on Mars???

I've read the MARTIAN CHRONICLES.

I'm staying right here.

Michael S Heiser on the ELOHIM...

I have been following Dr. Heiser's work regarding the Divine Council, and I am taken aback by the similarities between the ancient council of Demi-gods and what we percieve today to be Extraterrestrials.
Take a look at what he has to say. It will send chills down your spine.

Lisa Shiel @ BoA

The penultimate episode of Season Two sees Lisa Shiel, author of Backyard Bigfoot, join the program to discuss her first hand research into strange elements of the Bigfoot, including an in-depth look at stick signs and braiding the manes of horses. We'll also be talking about problems with the evolution theory and why the popular Gigantopithicus theory for Bigfoot has serious issues too. Plus, cryptozoology's infamous "natural v. paranormal Bigfoot" debate, UFOs and Bigfoot, Lisa's take on being a woman in cryptozoology, big picture speculation on what the Bigfoot might be, and much, much more.

Full Preview : We kick things off by getting some background on Lisa Shiel and how she gravitated towards researching the Bigfoot and other esoteric topics. We discuss her transition from novelist to non-fiction writer.

From there, we dive right into Lisa's personal experiences researching the Bigfoot, starting with the "stick signs". Lisa tells us about how she first discovered the stick signs and what evidence pointed to it being Bigfoot related. We find out if Lisa is hearing about stick signs from other people, now that her book has come out. Based on her observations, Lisa speculates on what the purpose of the stick signs might be (communication with her or other Bigfoots, trail / territory markers, etc.) She also tells us why most Bigfoot researchers don't notice the stick signs. We get Lisa's response to the skeptics of her stick sign research.

Once she'd established that there may be a Bigfoot on the premises, what did Lisa do to get more information on it. Lisa gives an indication of how to look for stick signs and what elements to look for. binnall suggests an experiment for Lisa to try when communicating, via stick signs, with the Bigfoot. We also find out if Lisa has had any Bigfoot sightings, during all of this research.

We next look at the strange phenomenon of horses mysteriously having their manes braided overnight. Lisa describes these braids, how she first discovered them, and what makes her think they are Bigfoot related. We also find out if the mane braiding followed her to Michigan from Texas, as the stick signs had done. From there we cover some of the other strange phenomena that Lisa captured on her game camera, including orbs, a strange flying object, and a purportedly extinct red wolf.

Wrapping up the personal end of Lisa's research, we talk about how she wrote much of the book in first person, documenting her research and why she decided to tell the story that way. We talk about the problem in some areas of esoterica, where the witnesses are kept on the outside of the field, and find out if that has happened to Lisa at all.

Moving on from Lisa's personal research, we discuss her investigation of the evolution theory and some of the problems that are inherent with the mainstream version of the history of human beings. Lisa talks about the problems with using bones and DNA as indicators of human origins. We talk about the desperation on the part of evolution researchers to prove a human lineage. Based on her research of the evolution of human beings, Lisa tells us where she sees the Bigfoot and its ancestors fitting into the whole equation. She also points out some of the problems of thinking humans evolved here on Earth, as they seem ill-equipped for a natural setting.

Then we talk about the Gigantopithicus Theory that is tremendously popular in cryptozoology. Lisa points out some of the serious flaws in the theory that the Bigfoot is a modern day gigantopithicus. This segues into a discussion on cryptozoology's attempts to become mainstream by catering to mainstream science and how Lisa feels it is a futile attempt. We find out if she thinks mainstream science will ever accept Bigfoot research as valid.

From there, we talk about the UFO - Bigfoot connection. First, Lisa shares some of the evidence supporting such a connection. We discuss the huge divide within cryptozoology over the "natural Bigfoot v. paranormal Bigfoot" debate. We try and find out if the anti-paranormal Bigfoot contigent is the majority or the minority in cryptozoology. Does Lisa feel like the pro-paranormal Bigfoot contingent is growing in popularity. We also speculate on if anything can be done to bridge this divide or if both sides will just end up going their separate ways.

We get Lisa's perspective on being a woman in the field of cryptozoology. She talks about some of the sexism she has experienced in the field.

Looking at things from a big picture perspective, we get Lisa to speculate on what exactly Bigfoot is. She also explains how she reconciles the paranormal with the Bigfoot and why she doesn't think the government is involved with the Bigfoot at all. We get Lisa's response to the big picture questions of "Can the Bigfoot be captured ?" and "If Bigfoot is proven to be real, is it good or bad for cryptozoology in the long run."

Wrapping it up, we find out about Lisa's research group, the Mighican Upper Penninsula Bigfoot Organization. And, we find out about a future book from Lisa that will be co-written with Linda Godfrey, "Strange Michigan".

"Real" UFOs: A New Meme?

By: R. Lee

Excerpted:

"I’ve been noticing the use of the phrase “real ufo” recently. It seems to mostly come from the skeptic milieu, which is surreally ironic, since they often don’t “believe” in ufos anyway, have strange ideas about the whole thing -- as in UFOlogy being some sort of “church” -- and are, overall, ignorant of the entire phenomena. Still they push on, rejecting a lot of theories and ideas out of hand, often insulting “believers,” with ad ad hominin comments and chiding us for spending time on the whole silly thing. All this framed by the idea that there are “real UFOs” which of course invokes the question: are there unreal UFOs?"

Robert Hastings @ BoA

Robert Hastings has spent the last thirty years cultivating and investigating cases involving UFOs and nuclear bases. He brings his lofty research to BoA : Audio to share with us his take on this strange sub-section of Ufology. We'll find out about Robert's background and how he decided to focus on the UFO-Nuke connection, key cases like the Malmstrom AFB case of 1967 and the Big Sur case of 1964, cases involving various levels of UFOs tampering with nuclear weapons, big picture speculation on what it all might mean, and tons more.

Full Preview : We kick things off by finding out a little bit about Robert's background and how he ended up gravitating towards the UFO subject. He also reveals his unique connection to the infamous Malmstrom AFB UFO sightings of 1967. We find out what made Robert decide to focus on the nuclear aspect of the UFO phenomenon. Robert tells us about the difficulties in finding military whistleblowers and in getting them to open up about their UFO sightings. He also tells of his attempts to get information from the government about these UFO / nuke sightings, via the FOIA.

We discuss Ufology's habit of turning on whistleblowers and we get Robert's take on this unfortunate habit of the field. We discuss how the strange theme of UFOs over nuclear bases is not isolated to just the 1940's, 50's, and '60's, but actually is seemingly still going on today.

Robert then talks about what he considers to be one of the top half dozen cases that he has studied, the 1964 Big Sur sighting. (Robert's CUFOS article on Big Sur (.pdf file)) We attempt to get a ballpark figure on how many UFO / nuclear base incidents that Robert has discovered so far. We also attempt to determine whether UFOs tinkering with the nuclear missiles is abnormal for UFO / nuclear base sightings (i.e. are they usually just observing and rarely get pro-active).

Based on what Robert's witnesses tell him, we find out what the reaction is of the "higher ups" in the chain of command to the UFO sightings over nuclear bases. Given that all evidence seems to support that the UFOs end up disabling the nuclear weapons, binnall inquires as to whether they've ever activated the nukes, instead. We find out if Robert has investigated any other UFO / nuke sightings occurring in other countries, outside of the US.

Getting totally speculative, we ask Robert what he thinks is going on behind these UFO sightings over nuclear bases. We move on to discuss the trend of the US military being pro-active about UFOs over nuclear bases and their attempts to thwart the UFOs via engaging them.

We move on from the UFO / nuke connection to talk about Robert's investigation of the Paul Bennewitz saga, during the mid-1980's. This segues into Robert's investigation of the MJ-12 documents and why he thinks they are fraudulent and who were the parties behind the disinformation. He also talks about how his investigation into MJ-12 ended up creating a firestorm amongst the parties he alleged were behind it all.

Heading towards the end, we find out Robert's take on how the UFO field has evolved over the last 30 years that he's been researching UFOs. We also get his take on the science v. activism debate that seems to be going on in Ufology today.

Wrapping it up, we find out when we can expect to be able to pick up Robert's book "The UFO / Nuke Connection". He also gives us the heads up on upcoming speaking engagements in New England, around late October.

Robert Hastings Bio
Robert Hastings was born at Sandia Base, NM, May 6, 1950, during a period of high UFO activity at the base, and nearby Kirtland AFB. (That might explain a lot, he says, tongue firmly in cheek.)

His father, SMSgt. Robert E. Hastings was career Air Force, and the Hastings family were stationed at Malmstrom AFB in 1966-67, during one of the peak-periods of UFO activity at nearby ICBM sites. That's what sparked his interest in UFOs.

He received his BFA in Photography at Ohio University in 1972. He almost completed a masters program in Instructional Technology (media directed toward educational ends) but gave that up in 1981 to go out on the college lecture circuit to speak about the UFO/Nukes Connection. Thus far he has spoken at over 500 colleges and universities nationwide.

In 1986-88, he retrained in Electron Microscopy at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA, and received a certificate in Material Science applications. Between 1988 and 2002, he was employed as a laboratory analyst by Philips Semiconductors in Albuquerque, NM, but continued to lecture at colleges part-time, averaging 25-30 programs per year.

He is currently semi-retired, but still lectures on UFOs.

This is a BIGGER mystery than we think...

Excerpted:

"Fossilized dinosaurs often have wide-open mouths, heads thrown back and tails that curve toward the head. Paleontologists have long assumed the dinosaurs died in water and the currents drifted the bones into that position, or that rigor mortis or drying muscles, tendons and ligaments contorted the limbs.

"I'm reading this in the literature and thinking, 'This doesn't make any sense to me as a veterinarian,'" said Cynthia Marshall Faux, a veterinarian-turned-paleontologist at the Museum of the Rockies.

Faux and a colleague say brain damage and asphyxiation are the more likely culprits."

UFO's are NOT COOL!

Excerpted:

"Ufologists (to use the term that identify UFO mavens and give them, they think, street cred) have been inept, that’s a given; they’ve botched the topic with internecine squabbling and self-glorification, but mostly by treating the phenomenon cavalierly, while pretending to study it seriously."

DIVINE REBELS, ALIEN DISSIDENTS!

By C. Scotty Littleton

Excerpt:

"The implications of the UFO phenomenon for anthropologists--or for anyone who would make rational sense out of the human condition--are profound. If ValleƩ, et al. are correct, humans have been the genetically exploited "lab rats" of one or more extraterrestrial civilizations, whose technological sophistication (evincing Sir Arthur C. Clarke's assertion that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic") has allowed them to maintain a clandestine hegemony over this planet for at least the past 13,000 years."[2]
