Artemis, Marian sightings and that girl at Fatima...

The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus is one of the seven wonders of the world.
Well, one of the seven ORIGINAL wonders anyhow. It is said that the temple
was burned down but now scholars suspect a lightening storm may have brought
it down, whatever the case, there is one mystery of Artemis that remains unexplained.

Some statues depict the goddess wearing strange dress. Protuberances that were
once thought to be bulls testicles and even breasts. No one is exactly clear what
the bulbous shapes represent but there is no question they resemble another (iconic)
figure.

The original (and true) description of the Lady of the Olives, the Marian apparition
that visited three children at Fatima Portugal, was described as, above all things,
having balls or bulbous things on her dress.

The above images depict Artemis.

This image ^ is based on a description of the apparition witnessed at Fatima, Portugal.
