UFO TV

Doug Moffett and Bill Chalker:

Do aliens exist? Have we had visitors from the stars? Has "first contact" already occurred? What really happened in Roswell, Area 51 in 1947? Are crop circles the result of weather patterns or are they messages from Extraterrestrials? Strange cattle mutilations: Are life forms from another planet experimenting on animals or humans? And can medical research prove this occurrence? The truth is out there.

These and many other questions are the focus of UFO, the online TV show brought to you courtesy of the free online TV station BananaTV.

SUPER-IN-REPOSE

“If you could have any Super power, what would it be and why?” My friend asks me this as we’re walking through the aisles at a popular comicbook stop. I contemplate my answer, not because it’s a question so grande in scale that only one answer is the right answer. I contemplate it because I have been asked this same question a million times over and I need a new answer. I never answer the same thing twice.
What is it with our fascination with Superheroes? Why do we yearn for superpowers and the status of Demigods? Is it an innate human trait we all possess? Is it the eternal question, right after who are we and why are we here?
The symbolism of such a dream is everywhere. In hollywood, ordinary people with a talent for lying are risen on pedestals like gods of olympus. On wallstreet, those who can make a good bet are revered like noblemen.
In the literary world, great writers are akin to great philosophers; thinkers beyond the mere mortal. Why? What is the craving for perfection and the eventual adulation? Little boys are expected to worship their fathers who seem beyond reality, until youth gives way to knowledge and knowing and our fathers are reduced to the mere mortals they are.
Our mothers are goddesses, impervious to pain. They never shrink or fade until that oneday we see them broken, in an act of vulnerability we never knew existed.
When this happens; when our heroes are exposed for the simple people they truly are, we feel cheated. Some of us grow with it. Let the reality of it consume us until we too become the people who are not dreams, fading to black.
But the rest of us, we turn a cheek toward the heroes that never fade, never die. They are perfect in every way that matters. They are impervious to bullets. They can touch the sun without getting scorched. In a blink of an eye they can traverse the planet. They don’t pay bills. They don’t have to walk the dog. They have bigger and better things to do.
They are versions of the people we want to be.
They are the outward exstensions of the heroes within us all. In this day and age they reside in the pages of a comic book, but in days of old, they were the stuff of legend. Sometimes it seems that their backstories are so real, maybe they were too.
Did Hercules really exist? How about Poseidon, or Athena...Osiris and Isis? Remember Moses? How about Samson? And then of course, there was Jesus. Depending on your religion or heritage, these people were not characters of some transcontinental word of mouth. They were real?
Superhumans are the stuff of fanboys (and fangirls), hollywood blockbusters and Scifi novels today. But why do we still have a love affair with Superhumans?
If they don’t exist; if they are memes of an overactive imagination, then why do we still feel a connection to them? Why do we want to be them? Why do some of us go to bed at night wishing we had the power to save the world? Why bother wasting the prayers when deep down it’s all supposed to be make believe? Maybe there is a very deep reason for superhero worship. What if there was a time when we did have power. The power to do anything but sit at a desk and ruminate?
Ancient Indian texts speak of men in flying vehicles with the power to raze cities to the ground. In Ancient Egypt, tales of the Eye of Ra, and weapons of Thoth are synonymous with our current tales of flying superhumans. Even farther back, in Celtic lore, old kings were christened on a hill that was the home of a superhuman race?
In Sumeria, a superhuman race started an entire civilization of learned men. Our history is replete with the probability of Superhuman existence.
The stories go on and on, from country to country, people to people and to think I pay two dollars and twenty-five cents to read what my ancestors may have lived through. Too bad none of them are around to brag.

UFO MYSTIC

Marie Jones @ BOA

Critically acclaimed alternative science writer Marie Jones guests on BoA : Audio to talk about her book "Psience : How New Discoveries In Quantum Physics and New Science May Explain the Existence of Paranormal Phenomena". We discuss the seemingly antagonistic relationship between esoterica and mainstream scientific research. We discuss defeating the two problems facing esoteric research : funding and fear of ridicule. We cover the latest in multiple universe and multiple dimension research as well as the zero point field. Plus the congagiousness of paranormal experiences, deja vu, ancient religion as a window to new science. And what all this new science might mean to both finding answers to esoteric enigmas and the everyday layperson.

Full Preview : We start out by finding out about Marie Jones and how she gravitated towards the esoteric and new science. We find out which, of all the esoteric subjects she covers in the book, is her particular favorite genre. We talk about the infighting within esoterica and how the fields may be more interrelated than specialists think. We talk about the ridicule factor that plagues esoterica and what can be done to overcome that problem. Marie talks about how she's sees that changing and why the change may be coming about. We also discuss the serious problem of lack of funding for esoteric research or even areas of new science. We discuss the antagonistic relationship between the esoteric and mainstream science and Marie tells us how she sees that dissonance slowly going away. We talk about getting over the speedbump of the scientific community not recognizing data collected by paranormal investigators.

Moving into the new science realm of the book, we talk about findings in quantum research that show intention shapes the outcome of some experiments. From there we discuss the "holy grail" of science, a way of tying the mico and macro worlds into one workable theory. This segues into the problem of repeatability and how it often thwarts acceptance of the esoteric by mainstream science. We touch on how the book covers a wide array of areas in alternative research and Marie talks about her research for the book and how she wrote it with the mainstream audience in mind.

From there we discuss the various theories on the universe and if there is one that looks particularly strong. We talk about the multiple universe theory and how close the "hidden universe" may be to our own. We also discuss the "information theory" of the universe, a particularly bizarre theory amongst the contenders. We talk about how some theories for the universe depend on some kind intelligence at work and how science reconciles that nebulous situation.

binnall finally gets an answer regarding "dimensions v. universes, what's the difference ?" We move on from there to discuss multiple dimension theories. Given that humans can't see past the usual four dimensions, how does science study these potential other dimensions ? Marie tells us. We also find out if it is possible for humans to learn to perceive the additional dimensions or if are we totally limited from picking it up. We also discuss how children seem to be more perceptive to things that may be outside an adult's level of awareness.

We then discuss the "zero point field", where the idea for it came from, what it may be, and what it could be used for, and the metaphysical aspects of the ZPF. We find out where the ZPF relates to alternate dimensions. We also discuss the idea that profound discoveries regarding the ZPF (such as free energy) may be held back by the "powers that be" and if the science being done "in the black" is much more advanced that what is being reported in mainstream science journals.

The strange trend of paranormal events being contagious is our next topic for discussion. Marie tells us about her deja vu experience and why she recommends people experiencing deja vu to just "go with it". Ancient religions as a window to what we are seeing coming from scientists studying new science. Following that, we tackle the big question of whether or not the human race can be responsible with whatever it discovers as a result of the new science. We then talk about what kind of effect, if any, discoveries in new science may have on everyday life. If these new sciences find the answer to one paranormal phenomenon, will the rest then fall into line in a domino effect. We also discuss the possibility that its dangerous to be meddling in these esoteric sciences, since it could unleash something beyond our control. Marie tells us where all this new science is headed in the future.

Marie tells us about her next book, "Supervolcano", which will be co-written with her father, a geophysicist. Additionally we find out what's coming up next from Marie Jones, how to find out what she'll be up to, and problems she's run into with people trying to pronounce "Psience".

Heaven's Gate revisited

I would be the last person to suggest that the Heaven's Gate cult was on to something. They were clearly disturbed people. But, I will never forget the photo enlargements of Hale-Bopp that did, indeed, show something trailing behind, in close proximity. And to this day, there hasn't been a valid explanation.

An excerpt:

“Their beliefs were a hybrid of science fantasy (UFOs and aliens) and Christian beliefs. Essentially they believed that God and the Kingdom of God were extraterrestrial. They believed that they descended from this extraterrestrial kingdom and took occupancy in human bodies some 20 years or so ago. They believed that they had learned all there was to learn of the human condition and that it was time to return to the kingdom from where they came.”

For the record: UFO's and ALIENS are not Science Fantasy and I find it pretty uncanny that someone named SCULLY said these words.

Magnetic vortex seen on the suns surface

Do Aliens want to be discovered?

This is a very interesting question to ask. Those of us more inclined to seek answers to the UFO enigma should take this into consideration because if they don't want to be discovered, there's a dichotomy. How do you look for something that doesn't want to be found?

The Good, the bad and the Alien (part 2)

Part 2

In his book "23 minutes in hell" Bill Wiese describes the demons that dwell there as REPTILIAN; scaley, humanoid figures with bumps and disfigurements who were pure evil incarnate.

This is a completely different ideology in respects to religious artwork, which often times has depicted demons as horned, sometimes brown creatures resembling trolls. But the shadow cast on demonology by the countenance of Reptilian devils is as old as time.

The serpent in the garden, also known as the serpent of wisdom is the most popular and oldest incarnation of such creatures. In mythology it is seen as an enlightener or bringer of knowledge. This is basically a gnostic slant on the mythos.

The Mayans worshiped a Serpent god named Gucumatz. The Hopi's spoke of the Snake Brothers...or serpent brotherhood. Older depictions of Lilith show her embraced by serpents and hints to the prospect that the Primordial Woman of Columbian mythology is one and the same.

The mythology of india perhaps embraces the most famous of the serpent legends. The NAGAS...none too different than the Titans...who are closely related to the SONS OF GOD. There is an obvious connection.

In classic abduction sequences, the Greys, although not even remotely good, are no closer to being a threat than the Reptilians, who seemed to weild a completely different kind of technology but who have been known to work closely with the greys nevertheless.

We are obviously seeing two different types of beings working cohesively to the same ends. The greys are often depicted as part biological and part robotic, while the Reptilians are often Sauropoid in appearance.

Reptilians are often times linked to undeground bases or caves and have been known to cavort with human women against their will which would mean that although they are reptilian in appearance, they may share some inherent traits with humans.

How is this possible?

Towering mysteries

Old stone towers scattered across the foothills of the Himalayas.

THE GREAT SPHINX-Who was he?

I am probably going to get hell for this, but I have always believed that the great Sphinx was once a SHE and not a he. The Sphinx, across cultures, has always been female. The two CHERUBIM or Sphinx-like beings guarding the gate to EDEN were sexless of a sort, because their sex is never mentioned. Infact, they are rarely mentioned. The only place where a MALE Sphinx is common is in Egypt and solely because they are stylized after the PHAROAHS to whom they were dedicated. The current head on the Sphinx is NOT the original and is younger than the body itself.

Where have all the prophets gone?

Doesn't matter what religion you bow to, or what atheistic leanings you may have in regard to spirituality at all, because every culture has their prophets. There's JESUS, MOSES, BUDDHA and even the ORACLE (Pythia). Throughout history there's always been some person, not like everyone else, with all the knowledge of the universe...a divine upbringing and maybe even a parent who was not human. Always the same story...the same enlightening message, across the globe.
So why don't we have one now?
Seriously. We haven't had a prophet of such magnitude in 2000 or so years. Why? Why the dry spell? You would think with all the 'supposed' Star children being born, and the fact that our last few hundred years gave us MOZART, EINSTEIN, FEYNMAN and DA VINCI that we would have atleast one divine man (or woman) with the power to enlighten us all in these trying times.
But then again, no one has ever really given any credit to the esoteric aspects of all the religious doctrines out there---the fact that the BIBLE itself has more supernatural occurences then a Stephen King novel.
What if todays prophet is someone who is a reflection of the times? Could he/she be a video game wizard, a famous popstar? Or better yet, what if our next great prophet is an Abductee/Contactee?
Consider the overwhelming fact that the next person to lead humankind into the dawning of a new age may be the footsoldier of beings we may consider alien in origin, but who may very well be the same beings in control of every prophet ever born.
Our ancestors had no problem embracing the unknown and yet we place all of our faith in the belief that scientists will find an answer to the unknown...put faces on the monsters we think lurk in the dark...give us some reprieve from a fear older than ourselves.
Even worse is the idea that there is no prophet for our times because we don't deserve one.
Which is scarier of the two? Knowing that there is someone out there, capable of saving us all, who may be just a tad to the left of the straight and narrow, or the probability that that person doesnt exist at all?

The Skeptical Milieu

The Good, the bad and the Alien...

Okay, first off...I used to think aliens were good. I was about ten. I wanted to be an Astrobiologist. I begged my mother to send me to spacecamp and I devoured every physics, astronomy and UFO related book on the shelf. My passion perhaps was a bit naive but at the same time, having grownup experiencing bouts with the unknown, I was certain there was something 'out-there' to discover. But aliens were never evil. Until I grew up.

About the time I got into middle school, I started to see an alternative side to the peace loving grey and reptilian beings. They werent good at all. I was an avid armchair archaeologist, with a particular interest in MAYAN, AZTEC and INCAN peoples. I saw from their history that reptlians were monsters. That a race of reptilian gods manipulated the people into slaughtering their young for empty promises of rain in drought and food in famine.

What about old African lore? Frog-faced men eating the intestines of unsuspecting humans.

Is there a race of maneaters out there, floating in our orbit, licking their lips everytime one of us gets caught in their snare? Sounds like a B-movie plot, I know, but don't forget these stories are older than hollywood. Older than tv. Older than the written record.

Was Mars Our Garden of Eden?

There's a story about the devil having a breastplate made of gold that was left here on earth when he came from Mars. Supposedly, this is the origin of the GOLDEN FLEECE story. Ares, also known as Mars, was associated with a golden breast plate as well and was said to traverse between earth and his home via some sort of door or gate. Many have said that it is probable that Mars was the home of fallen beings who travelled to earth via a stargate. It is indeed farfetched but considering that all of these old stories are the same: Ancient God from another world, comes to earth, loses armor, returns home without it, valiant heroes go in search of said armor to give to an opposing god, etc.
Maybe all of these stories have a common root somewhere.

Giant Stone Spheres

I remember reading some time ago about the relation between these giant stone spheres and the giant heads of the olmecs. Supposedly the spheres were representative of the most popular sport at the time, a game that is still played in Mexico today...and the giants heads were those of revered ball players. As the game goes, the WINNER dies. Not much fun in that if you ask me.
The giant spheres are also representative of the small spheres found in Africa in 3 million-8 million year old strata. The smaller ones, like the much bigger ones, were rimmed around the circumference by a line, reminiscent of the 'wall' wrapped around the moon IAPETUS. Does this all tie in together? You never know.

UFO ICONOCLASTS

Swedenborg, Adamski and the UFO experience:

I agree with the Article that Swedenborg had the luck of not being treated like Adamski. But I also think that it is all in the execution. If a guy is going to talk about Venusians as some sort of life-altering epiphany, and he's eloquent enought to pull it off, people are going to listen. They may not believe it...but they'll listen. However, a man who seems to be quoting from a Star Trek storyline isnt going to have so much luck, because it sounds too kitschy and contrived and people don't really have much reverence for kitsch.

UFO's in PARIS

Close scrutiny of the enclosed pic shows either a black disk with a blue orb connected to the belly, or a triangular, black craft emitting a blue ball. Very hard to discern but fascinating regardless.

Anomalous skulls

I went to the MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS today, and was utterly amazed with a body cover from Giza (the old kingdom). It depicted a male in repose with a head so disproportionate to his body that even my sister, who is not one to wax esoteric, stated, " That is not a human head."

Indeed.

Flying humanoids

A great link from Rense.com that may garner some interest in the flying cryptoids phenomena.

Anomalous Underground Humming in Portugal

The undeground 'humming' anomaly is pretty old. Reminds me of a story I read in one of my many books on the Esoteric. Apparently there was a humming in Tunguska some 50 or so years ago, and upon investigation, a giant black, polished stone door was found in a cave and behind the door was the loud roar of machinery. According to the discoverers, this was the cause of the Tunguska event. A giant machine that emitted a ray of some sort and was basically all leading back to some even older story regarding how the earth was (artificially) terraformed and to keep it in the position it is in orbit, a giant machine was built into its core. Sounds far-fetched I know...but I swear I read it.

Water within the Earths mantle

Frackin' awesome!

I said it would get bigger!

Nick Redfern brings attention to the flying cryptoids phenomena. In India we had the Monkey Man attacks, in Puerto Rico we still hear about the chupacabra...so this is indeed a phenomena that needs some very, very close scrutiny.

The fact that SPRING-HEELED JACK went unsolved and given the rash of attacks and sightings of what look like flying or floating humanoids, for example the dark, flying witch-like creature that attacked a police officer in mexico...and the flying horse sighting in Portugal...

We may just have a MONSTER related flap on our hands.

The Aurora, TX Alien Mystery

"The cemetery is the site of Texas' most famous UFO crash. On April 16, 1897, six years before the Wright brothers made history at Kitty Hawk, a cigar-shaped object crashed into a windmill here. Some say an alien inside the craft survived the crash. Others say it died and the townspeople here gave it a proper Christian burial."

Oops... I did it again!

I was bored, so I did something that maybe everyone's done once in a while. I 'googled' myself. I didn't google my real name however. I googles BOUDICCASSPEAR just to see if anyone had anything nice (or not), to say about my blog. Instead I found nothing but embarassment. Actually what I found was a few snoddy comments I made on Paul Kimball's blog. What was I thinking? I feel like a Politician right now, because I dont want my identity obscured by nonsense. I want to make a 'positive' mark in the field of Ufology. As much as I hate troublemakers, I found that through my comments on Paul Kimball's site I WAS a trouble-maker! It made me realize just how heated people can get when spurred by the moment. Sure, there are plenty of issues in UFOLOGY that get me riled up, but for Pete's sakes I am going to be 29 in a few weeks. I dont want someone to oneday through some off-color, stupid comments in my face to taint my image. So, this is an offical apology to Paul Kimball and anyone else I may have offended on my road to personal discovery. Really. I just hope that in the future I can work against my ego and my attitude because I am actually a very nice person...and I hope others can say the same.
