All I have to say about the *entirety* of this article is that MICHAEL HORN presumes too much. He most certainly PRESUMES that E.T.'s think like us. Well, they shouldn't, because simply put, THEY AREN'T US. And that having been said, we don't think like them...which is why we run around in circles, chasing our tails, trying to figure them out. Who's to say that ALIEN ABDUCTIONS aren' their way of trying to figure us out? So simple, yet so probable. Too many people like to look down on the human race. Too many humans...and yet, what if there is something about us that puzzles these 'creatures' from elsewhere? What if they can't quite figure out who and what we are no better than we can? I think it's about time that people started thinking outside the box if we are going to contemplate the minds of beings living outside this solar system.

And the story just keeps spinning...

I doubt whether the Peruvian *meteorite* mystery will die out anytime soon, and I am thinking, "Why should it?" Sometimes it takes things like this to reinvigorate the peoples belief in something other than the norm. When things like this happen, and scientists are rolling their eyes, while Ufologists are taking down interviews, the people in the midst of such matters are looking around at the world they live in and some part of them is thinking just how grande and mysterious the world truly is, and that always incites hope. We need some hope.

The PERUVIAN impact---a closer look.

The recent asteroid impact in Peru, near Lake Titicaca had me thinking about the area moreso than the incident. I've read plenty of things on Lake Titicaca, mostly as an archaeology enthusiast, and what I have found, I feel can add to the folklore of the area and can perhaps explain why such an impact is getting so much press, as well as a conspiratorial reception from certain people.

This mathematical *discovery* by Oxford Scientists seems to prove so...

But me, personally, I always saw the Universe like a cake that's been sitting in the oven too long. It implodes, you get a smattering of batter on the oven before the cake caves in (or atleast my cakes do this), and it's like if the universe, in the beginning exploded and then imploded, much like said cake, you would get smatterings of debris, hence, galaxies on the outside (the oven) and the inside, (the cake pan), so um...which part of the universe is mimicing which?

But then again...I don't know any of this stuff, I just make it up as I go along. Like everyone else...

I had a dream last night...actually, more like a nightmare. That some wayward scientist found a cave with a huge door inside. He couldn't get it opened so he called in the army (yes, it was a dream and in dreams these things happen), and they came barrelling in like soldiers out of a Michael Bay movie. They blasted the door but no dice. And then finally, a woman steps through. Sharply dressed...I got the impression that she was the President. Don't ask. She pulled on the old handle, the door came open, a great gust of wind and dust and debris issued forth. Than came a god-awful howl and the sky turned black and I woke up thinking, " Holy sh_t, someone opened up the door to hell." Don't even know why I came to that conclusion, but it got me thinking about Stargates, so here is wikipedia's definition.

In other planets, what would our homes look like?

This just makes me think about the MARTIAN CHRONICLES...but a look at the prototypes and all I can wonder is that our ancestors did indeed know something we don't because the architecture is as much 'old' as it is 'new'. Take a look and see for yourself.

Nothing important happened today. That was the title of an X-files episode. On that day, a lot of things happened. It was a kind of joke that floated around for a while. Something big happens...but nothing important happened today. And so it goes in the realm of Ufology. Everyday people see things, everyday sightings are reported, and yet everyday, we turn a blind eye because the evidence we seek just isn't there. Nothing important happened today.
As far back as seven years ago, I used to wish nothing happened. I was in the middle of a cosmic game of cat and mouse. I saw things and suffered things I thought were reserved solely for the pages of a Loren Coleman, Brad Steiger or John E. Mack book. My world was completely topsy-turvy, after so many years of studying the Supernatural/Esoteric/Ufological, I finally discovered that I was one of those stories in one of those books that everyone scoffed at. I was someone who was roused in the night by things unknown only to awaken the next day and exclaim, "Nothing important happened today," And the truth is, something *important* happens everyday, but no one seems to give a shit.

The mystery deepens with the unusual light and dark hemispheres of Iapetus. One side is as white as snow, and the other is as black as tar. With the new Cassini images, you can actually see where the different regions mix. On the dark side, you can see spots where there are patches of white ice on dark mountainsides. And then on the bright side, you can see blobs of dark material. This dark material forms a very thin coating; probably only a few metres deep, since there are regions where impact craters have punched right through it, revealing white material underneath.
