I've watched the video and now I am stuck on the ESA website, and finding things...unbelievable things. I should be working...but this is far too intriguing to ignore.
Not being anywhere near an "image expert," I do wonder whether these are just image artifacts of some sort. Interesting nonetheless and the site mentioned also has some interesting stuff as well, even if just out of curiousity.
By the way, the author (Joseph Skipper) of the website mentioned in this clip gives reasons to try and refute them being image artifacts near the bottom of his Hale Crater page. I don't know what to make of it, again not knowing much of anything about imaging.
