Buzz Aldrin and Monoliths on Phobos

Buzz Aldrin is the man. He doesn't make any wild claims. The man says the universe put a monolith on one of the moons of mars. And why not? What is the universe? Who runs the universe? Who or what tells the universe what to do and when? Yeah...sounds ridiculous. But...on second thought...does it really sound that crazy?

Never underestimate the crazy, crazy, crazy "ingenuity" of the universe. Take a look at yourself and around you. As everything is just "parts," and we move with it all and not against it. No free will. Every thought, emotion, action, etc, done not by you but by IT. All is ONE.

And the really crazy thing is there may be no "why" but again just IT. All being ONE with just an evolved sense of rhyme and reason...with evolution not really having to make absolute sense or really any sense at all (things just are the way they are and that's that)....with reality not having any absolute sense.

Ask yourself though, if reality does have any sense...should it scare you or make you happy?

It scares me that we don't KNOW the answers. I can write any philosophical crap about the world/us and have it "fit" and maybe sound interesting and correct.

We have free will..no we don't...yes we do...no we don't...yes we do.

There is a purpose...no there isn't...yes there is...no there isn't...yes there is...no there isn't.

The world is fundamentally good...no it is both good and bad...no wait it is bad...no wait it is neither.

After SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO
LONG....WHY DON'T WE KNOW the answers to such BASIC questions?

It scares me to think that cows waiting to be slaughtered don't know the BASIC answer(s) either.

I can only hope the world to be kind at heart...but from where I'm sitting...something is AT THE VERY LEAST odd....I didn't want to use the word "horrible."
