A problem with the Bible or any versions or books thereof, is that, correct me if I am wrong, they were done in different time periods. For instance the "Book of Enoch" is missing from the interlinear Hebrew version linked here:
The full text of 2 Sam 21:20 is "And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of [great] stature, that had on every hand six finger, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant."
Now what the hell does "four and twenty in number mean?"
ANYONE?
I mean when reading this stuff it seems like there was some strange things going on back then...problem...WHERE ARE THEY NOW??? WHERE HAVE THEY ALL BEEN FOR THE LAST HOW MANY THOUSANDS OF YEARS?
Another thing, if this stuff can be translated so "matter of fact" WHY isn't this stuff ever REALLY taught in religious "get togethers." Actually this stuff, if it so "matter of fact" shouldn't be considered religion and should be taught regularly.
In other words, hasn't enough "scholars" looked into this stuff and decided whether it is true or false...put together the pieces by now...since it seems all in pieces anyway...things scattered from one book (passage) to the next, from one time period to another....what in the world (no pun intended..haha) is the human race doing? Can't anyone take ALL of this stuff and try to come up with something TRULY SCHOLARLY! Although, when I read this stuff, it sounds like these people made this crap up or it is so out of place to our current life as to be almost meaningless..."almost" because sometimes some of us anyway, do deal with strange creatures, UFOs, etc, etc. We can't make heads or tales of this stuff now, never mind what allegedly went on thousands of years ago. The only thing this stuff MAYBE, MAYBE, JUST MAYBE does is provide some sort of clue(s) to it all. No scientific scholars want to claim this all as literally true I guess...not even many of the religious scholars it seems...let alone other cultural beliefs/stories. I don't know.
